This recipe is the BOMB. It uses garbanzo beans as a base and you can sweeten as much or as little as you like. I used 2/3 cup of brown sugar, but next time I would drop it to 1/3. The chocolate chips are sweet enough for me. Mine was also a little too milky instead of goopy. I would use less than the full recommended amount next time.
My kids loved it as well. This is going to be an oft-repeated recipe in my home from now on.
